I hold a current Secret-level security clearance and have worked on Navy healthcare software handling sensitive personal data. That experience shapes how I approach access, confidentiality and the responsibility of handling your information.
Before your product goes live, we put its protection plan in writing: what needs protecting, who can access it and how we recover it if something goes wrong.
Access only where the work needs it.
We agree which systems the project needs and what I can do in each one. I ask only for the access the job needs and arrange a secure way to share it.
Customer records in my system sit behind a sign-in, and each customer’s records are kept apart from everyone else’s. Access to your existing tools stays within the permissions you approve.
A backup baseline for every product.
My starting point for every product: backups on a schedule, copies kept for as long as we agree, access to those copies kept tight, and restores that get tested.
Before your system goes live, we agree what needs backing up, how often, how long copies are kept, who is responsible and how often a restore will be tested.
Your product’s written plan says how quickly things come back after a problem, what can be recovered and any limits. Those details belong in your project agreement.
Your information stays yours.
You own your business data and your domain. A domain I arrange for you is registered in your name. You can have your data back in a format we agree, and how long it is kept and when it is deleted are set out in writing.
If you leave, I hand over control of your domain to whoever you name within five business days, without an exit fee. Software licensing, source-code rights and handover arrangements are written into your agreement.
